Pocket Dimension: Why We Pour Latte Art

Pockets Minicomic 2, in which Maudie makes a latte for pockets the hamster, and pours great latte art even in his small hamster drink bottle.

Meanwhile at Pocket Dimension…

Why do we make your lattes pretty when you’re just going to slurp them (upside)down?

About This Project

Pocket Dimension is a weekly webcomic about serving coffee and saving the world.

For context: I’ve spent a lot of hours behind the counter at expensive, high-concept coffee shops, chatting with posh people and steaming endless gallons of organic, glass-bottled milk for fancy beverages. I also live into Nashville, where every person behind every counter has a superpower–and a dream of how they’ll use it someday.

Pocket Dimension is a love letter to coffee shops: those weird wrinkles in reality where everyone’s the main character. Where we go when we crave company but want to pretend we’re alone. Where dogs are strictly prohibited but somehow always present. Where we love our job and the people we do it for, even while we dream of someday doing something really important.

Where every interaction is a chance to save someone’s world.
